Who Should Have Been Casted?

Ok, so we can agree that Katie Holmes was probably not the right person to be casted as Batman’s Love interest. While very beautifully she lacked that certain sex appeal that we have come to expect from previous movies. Now Maggie Gyllenhaal has a following with fans and while she is a great actress I really cant see her as Bruce Wayne’s love interest it just seems odd. I think she could have been an awesome villain. I know times are changing and beauty is not everything but having grown up seeing the bat with some gorgeous women Maggie just seems like a step down. What do you guys think was it a good casting call or just plain bad. Some greats include Kim Basinger, Nicole Kiddman ( funny Tom Cruz has been married to two leading women in Batman.)

Well I love the DrangonballZ Cartoon series, I am also very excited that there will be a new Live action movie coming out soon! I know its hard to picture these beloved characters played by real people. I honestly am excited that Buffy’s James Masters was casted as Piccolo. Chow Yun-Fat Will be Master Roshi!! Some of the other actors casted for the other roles I am not very sure can pull them of. Its hard to picture Justin Chatwin as Goku. Not because he is not Asian but because someone more in shape should have been casted. Acting is very important but Looking the part and making the audience believe you are that charater is just as important. What actor do you think would be a great Goku?

This may be Heath Ledger’s most memorable role, ever. The role was previously portrayed by Jack Nicholson in the original Batman Movie. I think that role could have been done well by David Bowie. Don’t get me wrong about Jack Nicholson, though. He was a great Joker.

Anyhow, screenshots of Ledger’s performance as The Joker, Batman’s Arch Nemesis in the upcoming film, The Dark Knight looks promising and the latest trailer shows this joker as much more like the sadistic and criminally insane one in the comic books. I really look forward to seeing this movie. I say Heath Ledger was well casted for this part.

I have been a huge fan of the Ace Ventura Series since it started. However, this may change when Ace Ventura 3 comes out later this year. It turns out that Ace Ventura will not be the protagonist. Instead, his offspring, Ace Jr., portrayed by Josh Flitter (License to Wed, Nancy Drew, and Air Bud) will be taking over. What’s worst about this is the fact that Jim Carrey will have nothing to do with the movie. Not even a little cameo. Instead of having Jim Carrey playing Ace Senior, there will be grampa and gramma Ventura. WTF!?!?

Honestly now! Who the hell would honestly believe Kirsten Dunst could seriously pull off the role of the hot and sexy Mary Jane Watson? She may be a decent actress, but in no way is she pretty enough to play that part. Did you notice that from Spiderman 1 to Spiderman 3 that she got uglier and uglier? WHAT’S UP WITH THAT? I think that Bryce Dallas Howard, who played Gwen Stacy in the movie, would have been a much better actress to play the part.
